Overview

Situated on a delightful family owned farm, this four star Youth Hostel provides family/child friendly accommodation suitable for groups or singles who enjoy the countryside. The hostel is located 8 miles from historic Salisbury with its Cathedral, and only 5 miles from Stonehenge World Heritage Site. Entrance to the adjoining Cholderton Charlie's Rare Breeds farm is half price to our hostel guests. It offers a range of daily activities including the famous pig racing and large indoor play barn. Also attached to the hostel is the Bluestone Vineyard, planted in 2016, the 12 acres of vines will produce sparkling wine in years to come! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available at the Ewe Tree Cafe where there is a fully licensed bar. Or relax and unwind in the hostel's comfortable lounge and self-cater in the well equipped kitchen. If booked in advance of your stay, you can book a wine and tasting tour with our vineyard. Please be aware that guests need their own transport.

Murder on the Farm

Come and join in our Murder Mystery Night on the Farm. Unravel the plot as the Murders unfold throughout the night. Stay at Cholderton hostel to enjoy your evening transport free.

Join us for a three course Christmas meal, embrace yourself in the evening and become as involved as you would like to unravel the plot and solve the crimes. Stay at Cholderton Hostel for a transport free evening and then enjoy the Rare Breeds Farm the next day and make the weekend an experience to remember.

Festival on the Farm

Come and join in the fun at our Solstice Festival , Bands, DJ, Craft stalls, face painter, food and drink. Come and stay at the Cholderton Hostel.

Our Solstice Festival is a family festival for all the family. Come and join us celebrate Solstice, bring your deck chairs, blankets and picnic baskets and enjoy the music, craft stalls and all the fun of being out doors. Stay at our Hostel so no need to worry about transport.
