Opened in 2024, this fantastic new boutique hostel makes the perfect starting point for your adventure. It's situated just a 5 minute walk from the centre of the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed, where you'll find the start of walking and cycling trails, independent shops, pubs and pizzerias. There are hourly direct bus routes to Snowdon, which is just a short ride away.
Base Camp Snowdonia sleeps up to 38 people in 4 or 6 bed dorms. You can book a bed in a dorm, a private room (some are en suite) or book the whole hostel for your group.
It goes without saying that everything about the hostel is modern and new. There's a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster etc as well as the hostel's own cafe and bar. Here you can relax and chat with fellow adventurers, buy breakfasts and light meals and round of your day with a well deserved pint.
