[Skiddaw House Hostel]

An opportunity to live in a beautiful but very remote part of the Lake District! We have had six successful years and demand continues to be high, even with the pandemic. However, we have decided to move closer to civilisation, having had a baby a few months ago.

Skiddaw House is a 20 bed, self catering hostel with a small licensed shop. The building is off grid with electricity from solar panels and heating from wood burning stoves and bottled gas. One side of the building contains the wardens’ accommodation. A 4×4 vehicle is required to access the hostel.
