Whether as a stop-over for those walking the South Downs Way or a venue for families and friends reunions, the Lodge offers simple but comfortable accommodation.
Wetherdown Lodge, once the home of Royal Navy trainees, has been completely renovated and is now model in how to use less energy and cut carbon emissions. The heating and hot water is provided by a biomass boiler, which uses locally sourced wood, whilst the warmth is retained by wool fleece insulation. It has triple glazed windows, solar roof tiles and natural maromoleum flooring.
Wetherdown Lodge is part of the Sustainability Centre which provides courses and events about environmental awareness and low impact living.Find out more about Wetherdown Lodge and Campsite
