Walk the Mawddach Estuary Weekend 18th & 19th March

Looking for a new challenge in 2023 ? Come and join us for the first Walking Event at Plas Isa Dolgellau

We hereby invite you to join us for a weekend of walking both sides of the Mawddach Estuary.

1️⃣ Saturday 18th March – We go back in time and walk through old gold mining sites and follow trading routes in the hills above the Mawddach Estuary. From Dolgellau to the seaside town Barmouth, encompassing the New Precipice Walk.

2️⃣ Sunday 19th March – Back in Barmouth, we’re crossing the railway bridge, the longest timber viaduct in Wales and one of the oldest in regular use in Britain. From there up along the beautiful Arthog Falls to Cregennen Lakes and via the Mawddach Trail back to Dolgellau.

Total distance approx 26 miles.
