Winter will see beautiful frosty mornings and snow on the peaks. The winter months can be stunning up here with those iconic bare hawthorn trees against limestone pavements and short-grazed grass revealing the underlying shapes of the Dales drystone landscape. Plenty of high and low level walks from the door to give you a fresh air blast from up on the tops or along the valley in all directions; in winter sunshine, the views are truly amazing at Broadrake.
Even if the weather is inclement, why not bring your crafting hobbies to keep you busy whilst weather watching through glazed roof lights from inside the barn. Plenty of flexible space and extra tables available for artists’ workspace, sewing machines, jigsaws, paper crafts and comfy sofas for those cosy knitting or crochet projects. For those that want some gentle indoor exercise, tables can be moved to free up space for yoga/pilate sessions on the waxed oak floor with underfloor heating.
We have fibre broadband wired directly into the building and if you are working from home again, why not consider taking a break away for a change of scene. An office space can be set up so you’ll be able to work in peace and quiet, with excellent internet facilities and opportunities for escaping directly to the great outdoors for breaks.
Please look ahead at our availability calendar so we can provisionally book you in so you don’t miss out. We have free weekends and good midweek availability.Find out more about Broadrake Bunkbarn
