Ty Cwch: a boathouse in Cardigan Bay on the Coast Path

Cwmtydu is a quiet cove on the Ceredigion Heritage Coast, tucked between Llangrannog and New Quay, where the river runs over the sand into the sea, and the Wales Coast Path runs along some of the most spectacular landscape of cliffs and secluded beaches.
Ty Cwch sits right at the end of a wooded valley, 2 walk minutes from the beach — an architect-designed boathouse built from larch-clad shipping containers, on the Welsh Coast Path. It sleeps 12, is Green Tourism Gold accredited, and in September the seals pup on the beach.
The coast doesn’t get much quieter than this.
