Right on the route, 140 miles from Cardiff Bay with 110 miles to get to Holyhead. Bed linen is available and breakfast and evening meals are available with notice. Secure bike storage as well.
Toad Hall is in the thriving market town of Machynlleth. The hostel consists of a three bed-roomed self-contained unit above the owner’s home, with private rooms and fully made-up beds. The garden is ideal for camping and there’s a small workshop for bike repair/storage.
The Lon Las Cymru cycles route runs from Cardiff or Chepstow to Holyhead, passing through the mountains of Wales. It passes through the Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia National Parks and over the Black Mountains and Cambrian Mountains of mid-Wales, taking in some of the most stunning landscapes in Britain.
