New Warden at Skiddaw House

sue edwards warden at Skiddaw House

After 6 years of successfully running Skiddaw House, Suzy and Martin have passed the reins onto a new Warden. The new Warden is Sue Edwards who has worked in hostels for over 11 years, 10 of which have been in hostels in the Lake District. Sue likes nothing better than getting a rucksack on, with tasty snacks inside, and heading out on the glorious Lake District fells with her dog Jura.

I’m really excited to be running Skiddaw House and welcoming you into one of the most remote and traditional hostels in England.
Providing a space for people to stop and be present in, without the need for phones or wifi, because the company of a stranger or enjoying the scenery or reading a book is enough, is a privilege to be part of.
I hope to meet you in Skiddaw soon !

Sue
