Situated on the car-less, road-less Scottish Isle of Ulva, (just off the coast of the Isle of Mull), Ulva Hostel makes an island escape adventure affordable for most wallets
The Isle of Ulva is accessed by foot ferry from Mull. The island is community owned and has fewer than 15 (human) inhabitants. The real inhabitants are of course those with feathers, wings, gills, 0, 4, 6, 8 or more legs! The hostel, built in 1860 as a shooting lodge, has undergone extensive renovation and opened to its first guests in May 2023. It sleeps a max of 14 people across 5 beautiful rooms. There are also 2 family-sized yurts (dog friendly) in the grounds which share the facilities in the main hostel. Plus there is space for overflow guests to camp in the grounds. You can book a bed in a dorm, a room, a yurt, the whole hostel or the whole site.
