The Rhyd Ddu Bunkhouse provides group accommodation on the slate trail at the foot of Snowdon and the Nantlle Ridge. Ideal for groups of 12 to 30. There are 6 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a large communal dining room. Glorious views, central heating, parking and fast Wifi. Sleeping bags required. Pub and café within 2 minutes’ walk.

The Slate Trail is an 83 mile circular trail which explores the industrial heritage of the slate villages of Snowdonia. The route starts at Porth Penrhyn near Bangor and ends at Bethesda and attracts walkers to villages such as Llanllechid, Bethesda, Dinorwig, Llanberis, Waunfawr, Nantlle, Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, Croesor, Ffestiniog and Penmachno.  Rhyd Ddu Outdoor Centre is in  the village of Rhyd Ddu.  Find out more about the Slate Trail.
