The Hand Inn, Llanarmon, LL20 7LD

The Hand at Llanarmon is an ancient hostelry and all the classic ingredients are here – old beams, roaring fireplaces, a casual mix-and-match of pine and oak furniture, real ale and good food.

The food is seriously good. Thanks to the talents of Head Chef Grant Mulholland and his team, The Hand is renowned for award-winning food. He’s been awarded two AA Rosettes for “culinary excellence” and they’re delighted to have been included in the prestigious Michelin Guide.
You don’t have to come for a meal: you’re welcome to drop in for coffee or tea or a pint of foaming ale.

The Swan Inn, Pontfadog, LL20 7BN

The Swan Inn is a traditional stone-built village pub dating back to the thirteenth century. It has recently been restored. This cosy family run free house offers home-cooked food, cask ales (The Good Beer Guide) and fine wines.

The pub has a separate restaurant area seating up to 32 people, an open bar area welcoming muddy boots and dogs with an open fire alongside a newly decked area near the babbling brook.

They provide an extensive menu, ranging from ‘Bar Bites’ to a 30oz Mixed Grill. The Sunday Dinners are delicious!

The Wynnstay Inn, Llansilin, SY10 7QB
The Wynnstay was built in 1784 and it is the last of five inns the village once supported. The pub consists of a public bar, lounge and pool room.

A traditional village pub with open log fires and a friendly atmosphere. The land lady is very welcoming. They are keen to promote real ale as can be seen from the two available, with a third on the bar at busier times.

The Wynnstay Inn serves wonderful pub food. The Sunday lunch is simply divine. British cooking at its finest.
