After a hugely successful first year back running Deepdale Backpackers & Camping, we are looking for a new Assistant Manager to help continue with the success.
There are two key aspects to the Assistant Manager’s job. The first is customer service and the second is management and training of a diverse team.
Applicants must want and be able to give excellent customer service. We pride ourselves at Deepdale at being able to help customers find their hygge on the North Norfolk Coast, ie find what makes them happy, and at the centre of that is enjoying their stay at Deepdale.
With a diverse team, each with different skills, interests and personalities, the new assistant manager needs to work with Chris and Jason, the senior management team, to inspire, motivate and manage.
As new team members join us, and we offer a wider range of services, the Assistant Manager will be required to give training to the team.
Applicants must have good computer skills, and be confident with standard Microsoft Office products, web based software, and online research.

Salary: The position is salaried, between £20,000 and £24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Working Arrangements:
This is a full time position.
Usual working hours are on average 10 days in every fortnight, including alternate weekends. However occasional extra working days will be required for key events during the year, such as Deepdale Hygge, Deepdale Festival and Deepdale Christmas Market.
Working hours each day vary according to the season, with occasional early or late working such as busy Friday night check-ins, gigs and other special events.
All working days and hours are usually agreed in advance and drawn up in a rota.
Holiday: The job offers 28 days holiday a year.
Pension: We will shortly be joining the Nest pension scheme.
