A three star hostel on the Hartland Heritage Coast.
Elmscott Youth Hostel was built in 1870 as a School Masters House and School Room. It was acquired by the YHA in 1946 and sold to the present owners as part of the YHA hostel sales. Since then Elmscott has been an independent hostel affiliated to the YHA. YHA Elmscott is on the Hartland Heritage Coast with views to Lundy Island, the surrounding area is superb for walking, with the coastal footpath just a few minutes away. Nearby are the famous Hartland Quay and the pretty village of Clovelly with its cobbled street reaching down to the sea.
