For those not into long walks and the Pennine Way there are some great family attractions in the area around Earby Hostel. Find out more on their website.

Family attractions around Earby include Thornton Hall Country Park (for animal encounters and a play barn), Raven Tree Top Adventure (for high ropes), Hesketh Farm Park (interactive animal sessions),  Billy Bob’s Parlour (Ice cream and more),  Craven Leisure Inflatables (great water fun).

The former youth hostel in Earby provides ideal family accommodation as well as access to the countryside for walkers and cyclists.  A charming terraced cottage in a Lancashire hill village, with fells all round.  The hostel is cosy and well- equipped and sits in a lovely garden with a stream and waterfall. Its sleeps 21 and there is a self contained 5 bed family unit next door.

Meals will soon be available when booked in advance. There will be a choice of three options in the evenings and breakfast is available as a cooked breakfasst (for £5), or a porridge/cereal and toast option for £3.50.
