Matt is transforming Earby Hostel into a private holiday cottage, ideal for families looking for a safe space to enjoy a short break in the UK.
As the UK went into lockdown, the doors to Earby Hostel closed to our usual guests, but now Matt is excited to transform the hostel into a private-hire holiday cottage throughout the summer holidays.
Earby Hostel is normally packed with keen walkers, ramblers, hikers and cyclists but due to the current social distancing guidelines we won’t be able to operate as a hostel for the next few months. So why not take the opportunity to book a safe, socially-distanced family holiday surrounded by nature, right on the Yorkshire/Lancashire border.
A GREAT SPACE FOR A FAMILY
Earby Hostel offers room for up to 8 guests from the same household/bubble across 3 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a large dining room, cosy living room, breakfast room and reading nook, and plenty of showers and toilets. There’s also WiFi! Oh, and a large private car park too.
Outside the hostel is a HUGE PRIVATE WILDLIFE GARDEN with space for picnics, barbecues, games and adventures! Through the gate and you can step right onto the Pennine Way, and we’re within minutes of some of our regions best walks, cycle routes and outdoor attractions.
YOUR HOST WITH THE MOST
Matt always goes above and beyond for his guests, and that will be no different as the Hostel becomes a Holiday Home. Matt is happy to arrange for your shopping to be delivered to the hostel, or to provide you with information on the best local take-aways so you don’t have to cook.
If you fancy a bike ride but didn’t bring your own wheels, we have plenty to borrow.
As a local family ourselves, we can tell you all the best places to go whether you fancy a spot of wild swimming, a pram-friendly walk, the best take-away cup of coffee, magnificent views or a challenging bike route.
If you’re looking for more of a chilled getaway then Matt has provided loads of games and books in the hostel and garden. We can order you a BBQ basket from the local farm shop, and we can even arrange to have a cocktail van deliver drinks to you!
SAFETY FIRST
All safety measures and precautions will be followed, with the whole building sanitized between each stay, and plenty of cleaning equipment provided. At the moment we are able to offer the holiday home to one family/bubble at a time inline with government guidance.
