Earby Hostel re opening has been delayed

Further information will be posted when an opening date has been notified

The re opening of Earby hostel has been delayed. Earby Hostel was founded by Katherine Bruce Glassier and donated to the Youth Hostel Association. In June 2017 the transfer of the ownership of Earby Hostel from the YHA to Earby Town Council took place.  Since then upgrades have been carried out in the building and the hostel will reopen as a Independent Hostel and Friends of Nature House. Further information will be posted when an opening date has been set.   For more details contact Bob Abel [email protected] or leave message on (0)1282 842349.

Earby is a cosy cottage with a picturesque garden, stream and waterfall close to the Pennine Way. It is an ideal stop for the Pennine Way Walker, as a base for local day hikes and for cyclists and those interested in the countryside and local heritage. It is particularly suited to individuals, families and small groups. The hostel has central heating throughout and a warm feeling of homeliness. Like Kirk Yeltholm Hostel and the Old School Hostel (previously YHA Trefin), Earby Hostel is guaranteed a future as part of the Friends of Nature group and the Independent Hostel Network.
