Peaceful and tucked away on an idyllic Welsh hill farm in the heart of the Breacon Beacons National Park. A pub at the foot of the drive. Lovely walks. What more could you ask for?
The last Natter about Coed Owen Bunkhouse highlighted the seclusion and access to the wild as perfect for ‘adrenaline junkies’ and ‘party people’. Well that just sounds a bit too tiring for me.
What about those of us of a more sedate turn of mind, pleased with mountain hikes, not mountain bikes, with pleasant views rather than extreme downhill kayaking. Luckily Coed Owen suits us too!
On an idyllic Welsh Hill Farm in the heart (really – the heart – Look it up on a map) of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The pub is at the foot of the farm drive. Penderyn Whiskey is right over there. The historic and picturesque town of Brecon is close. And to break things up a little, there are walks in the hills right from the door.
The Bunkhouse sleeps 26 in a variety of rooms and has a shared kitchen, living space and showers. There’s a very secure cycle shed. A newly completed barn conversion sleeps 9 on the site too.
Peaceful and tucked away. A quiet drink nearby. Lovely walks. Ahhh!
