Birsay Campsite on Orkney mainland is re-opening on Wednesday 12 August.

Close to spectacular coastline with Marwick Head bird reserve and the Brough of Birsay early Christian and Norse settlements on a tidal island.

Also convenient for visiting Orkney’s 5,500 year old Neolithic Heartland (UNESCO World Heritage site), with the Ring of Brodgar, the Standing Stones of Stenness, the Tomb of Maeshowe and Skara Brae.

Only the campsite is re-opening , the hostel will remain closed for now.
