Award-winning, quirky, eco-container hostel on the Welsh Coast

The adventure begins with where you stay. And a few nights at Ty Cwch Boathouse are guaranteed to be a great start to your adventure on the Cardigan Heritage Coast. Insulated containers pods create 3 cosy upstairs bedrooms each sleeping 4 in bunks. While on the ground floor more containers house kitchen, sitting and cleaning pods. These open on to the covered deck with the main sitting and dining area.

Ty Cwch is in Cwmtydu, a secluded cove on the Cardigan Heritage Coast in Ceredigion. The beach is easy to access for launching kayaks and small boats, is excellent for fishing and swimming, is clean, with sand, pebbles, and a small pool where the Afon Ffynnon Ddewi river runs into the sea. Cwmtydu is located on the Welsh Coast Path between Llangrannog and New Quay with many excellent circular walks, secluded beaches, spectacular landscape, and abundant wildlife, including seals, (pupping on the beach), and the largest population of bottlenose dolphins in Europe. Ty Cwch provides unique, contemporary and affordable accommodation where you can be as quiet or as active as you want.
