Plas Isa provides relaxed, accommodation for independent travellers, families and small groups next to the Golden Lion Hotel in Dolgellau. They have just added two new gallery pages to their website where you can see photos of the area and accommodation.
Dolgellau is at the east end of the Mawddach Trail and the Trail starts at our back door of Plas Isa. The trail follows the glorious Mawddach estuary for 9.5 mile to Barmouth. It is a flat cycle or walking route along a disused waterside railway track which culminates in a final half mile crossing along the Barmouth Viaduct which spans the mouth of this stunning estuary.
