Ashbourne Gateway’s kitchen, lounge, communal hall, toilets and bedrooms are all on the ground floor. There is a disabled access toilet and wet room. As Ashbourne Gateway is located underneath the church, there is a slope with sharp corners that leads to the hostel which some wheelchair users might find challenging.
Ashbourne Gateway also has a multi-million pound project in progress (The Link Project) that will eventually give them a snazzy new front entrance and a lift rather than ramp access. Watch this space!
