The Elan Valley has so much to explore. There is an extensive network of off-road tracks for mountain bike riders. The tarmac roads around the lakes of the Elan Reservoirs are ideal for road bikes, with long sweeping rides and gradual hills climbing up onto the high moors. All with very little traffic. For walkers there is the peace of quite hillsides and no problem with parking ! Beili Neuadd Bunkhouse is a great base to explore Rhayer and the Elan Valley and generally has plenty of mid week availability. Weekends are oftern in demand but you can secure one if you book in advance
