Just over two miles from the Coast to Coast route at Grasmere, Rydal Hall in Ambleside is easily reached, with regular bus services (555 and 599) linking the route to the hall. Here, you can choose from comfortable B&B rooms in the Main Hall, a campsite, or an eco pod. For those travelling together, there is also a groups-only bunkhouse accommodating up to 26 people.
However you are tackling Wainwright’s epic walk and whoever you are walking with (even if your dog is joining you), Rydal Hall should have accommodation to meet your needs.
