Independent youth hostel in charming Haworth, home of the Brontë sisters.
Haworth village, famous as the home of the Brontë sisters, has plenty of independent shops and cafés along a historic cobbled high street. A short walk from the hostel takes you to the Brontë Parsonage Museum or the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, where you can enjoy a steam train ride to Oakworth, the station featured in the classic 1970s film The Railway Children.
For walkers, the surrounding moors— which inspired Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights— offer rugged beauty and stunning views. You can hike to Top Withens, explore the Brontë Waterfall walks, or try the Haworth Moor Circular Walk. The Transpennine way passes less than 1km away, the Pennine Bridleway is 3 km away and the Pennine Way is just 4 km from the hostel. The location is also close to the Yorkshire Dales Cycleway and the Haworth Hills Cycle Route.
The hostel is popular with walkers, cyclists, families, and overseas tourists. Individuals can book private rooms up to 60 days before the date of stay.
It is perfect for sole hire by groups of up to 85 people and economical for smaller-sized groups too. There is plenty of space for family celebrations, schools, team meetings with breakout rooms, and facilities for groups enjoying the great outdoors. There are 18 bedrooms. Full catering can be provided for groups, including the chef's popular authentic home-cooked indian buffet.

There are two ground floor bedrooms at Haworth Youth Hostel. One of which is an accessible 4-bedded room, (double with a single over plus another twin bunk). The other is a 2-bedded room. There's an accessible bathroom with shower, low washbasin, WC and grab rails. Transfer is left-handed onto the toilet, this is in the corridor next to the accessible bedroom.
