OverviewWayfarers Independent Hostel is situated close to Penrith town centre, providing excellent value accommodation to those visiting Penrith, the Eden Valley and the North Lakes. Penrith is on the edge of the Lake District National Park, close to the M6 and on the West Coast Mainline with shops, pubs, restaurants and a cinema all within 5 minutes' walk of the hostel. The C2C cycle route passes 100m from the doorstep. Secure indoor bike storage, a drying room, bike cleaning and maintenance facilities make this an ideal place to stay. Newly refurbished in a comfortable, modern style, facilities include a lounge, full kitchen and dining area and an outside seating area for guests to enjoy. All bedrooms are en suite with beds made up (sheets & duvets), lockers, bedside lights, USB charging points, and have free WiFi. Towels available for hire. Individuals, small parties and groups of up to 18 are welcome.

Directions:M6 jcn 40 into Penrith along Ullswater Road. Past the station, bear left at first roundabout, straight over second heading down the hill past Booths and Morrisons. At bottom of the hill follow round to the left and take first turning on left.
