Coming soon!… Wayfarers re-opening -17th May 2021

February 25th 2021

If all goes to plan, we’ll be re-opening on the 17th May and we are taking bookings from this date. Unfortunately, we are still unable to offer single beds in shared dorms so all rooms will be private for groups up to 2, 4 and 6 people. Each room has it’s own en-suite and tea/coffee making facilities if our shared kitchen has to remain closed. Any booking that is unable to come due to government restrictions will be offered a refund/change of change.

Wayfarers is a cosy, boutique hostel with en-suite facilities for each bedroom, well equipped kitchen (hopefully this can open in some way soon), snug lounge, bike storage with maintenance bay and drying room. We’re based on the edge of the Lake District National Park in the lovely town of Penrith. We have everything close by for the perfect holiday or outdoor adventure; Ullswater Lake is only 5 miles away, the coast2coast cycle route only 50 meters away, castles to explore, and many, many beautiful fell walks for all abilities. Within Penrith is a vintage style cinema, boutique shops, a local wine maker, brilliant junk yard, fantastic pubs, restaurants and cafes.

Always book direct for the best price!
