Group accommodation in a stunning modern development in Cardiff Bay.

Urdd Caerdydd Gwersyll, also known as the City Sleepover, provides accommodation for groups of 15 to 153 in the Welsh capital. With extensive experience hosting school residentials, the Sleepover is available to all groups, including groups of families taking a holiday together. On rare occasions, rooms are also available to individuals/families.

This 4-star hostel is part of a stunning modern development sharing a roof with the Wales Millennium Centre, one of the world’s premier arts venues. With 29 ensuite bedrooms, large hall/theatre, lounges, dining hall, and classrooms, it is ideal for many types of groups. Overseas visitors will love the location. Choirs, orchestras, and drama groups will enjoy the many practice spaces and the on-site hall/theatre. Corporate and youth groups can make use of the excellent presentation space and the many breakout rooms.

There is plenty of room to relax in the lounge, which has a pool table, food and drink machines, and a coffee machine. The hall is ideal for dancing and can also be transformed into a theatre that seats 150 people, with a digital projector for conferences or film screenings. The dining hall can serve breakfast, lunch, tea, and supper, catering for dietary needs and religious beliefs.

Situated in Cardiff Bay, one of Europe’s most exciting waterfront developments, the Sleepover is on the doorstep of many world-class attractions that combine history and culture - such as theatres, museums, galleries, arts venues, stadiums, and sports centres. There is nowhere better to get a cultural experience!

In addition, a range of activities and courses are available in Cardiff Bay, including Welsh language courses and watersports.

Whether you're visiting Cardiff for an educational course, a holiday, or on business, the City Sleepover will provide an unforgettable experience.
