Clare wrote in August 2019: "This is a truly magical find, can't recommend it highly enough and still counting our lucky stars we managed to book a few nights at short notice. Perfectly positioned for a 30 second stroll to the Cwmtydu beach and it's resident seals, or for the coast path to New Quay or south towards a brilliant beach (and breakfast) at Llangrannog, it's also perfectly placed to just loll about in the hammock or cook up a storm in the seriously well equipped kitchen. We could not have found a better space to suit our needs nor a more idyllic location, I'm just loathed to tell anyone else how brilliant the place is, we'll never get in again!"

The shared living space works well for adults and children. There's plenty of room for everyone. The beds are comfy, the showers are good and the kitchen really well-equipped.
The Coast Path is literally on your doorstep with great walks and views in both directions. Swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking are a few of the activities possible off the beach, and Cwmtydu is only a stones throw from many towns and places of interest.
There's a discount for the length of your stay, with 5% off for 3 nights and rising to 25% off if you stay for seven nights or more. Please ring to claim these discounts.
It's possible to book by the cabin, or you can book the whole building . You might find that you're sharing the ground floor spaces with other people but outside the main seasons the space may well be all yours!

Ty Cwch is built from stacked, larch-clad shipping containers
— three sleeping pods upstairs, each with four bunks, plus separate ground-floor pods for cooking, sitting and washing. Heated and insulated, so they work in winter as well as summer. You can book a single pod or the whole building, depending on the size of your group.
National Park

Ty Cwch itself isn’t inside a National Park — it’s on the Ceredigion Heritage Coast
But Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is within day-trip range to the south, and Eryri (Snowdonia) is reachable further north. Plenty of guests use Cwmtydu as a quieter, less crowded base and drive into the parks for a day rather than staying inside them.
