OverviewThe Ceilidh Place is a small complex, consisting of a music venue/performance space, restaurant, hotel, bar, bookshop, coffee room, gallery and bunkhouse. There are regular ceilidhs and concerts (sometimes jazzy/classical) at the Ceilidh Place with visits from folk musicians and small touring theatre companies occuring regularly. The bunkhouse (group only) does not have self-catering facilities but the coffee shop is open from 8.30am to late evening, 7 days a week. It serves hot food, soups, salads, great coffee and cakes and is a super place to relax, read and write cards or memoirs. Rooms for individuals are also available in the hotel where there is a social living room area and balcony. The village of Ullapool is a small exciting port and fishing town, with ferries from the Outer Hebrides. The Ceilidh Place is in the centre of Ullapool. It is also next to the campsite. The bunkhouse is much favoured by hill walkers and families as an ideal base for touring.

The wonders of the highlands are closer than ever, from the 26th of April our hostel, café and restaurant will be open again.
In less than a week you can escape the crowds and come experience the peaceful atmosphere of Northern Scotland. Walks are easily found taking you round the stunning landscape for miles around. There’s also regular ferries over to the Hebrides for day trips. But with such good food and drink being served at the Cleilidh Place we’d understand if you’d prefer to stay in! We look forward to seeing you soon.

We are a small complex consisting of a music venue/performance space, restaurant, hotel, bar, bookshop, coffee room, gallery and bunkhouse. There is something for everyone here. Our bunkhouse has eleven rooms can sleep a maximum of 32.
