Overview

Swanage Auberge, the bunkhouse that cares, is a refuge for climbers, cyclists, walkers and divers, situated at the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast with excellent walking, mountain biking, diving and rock climbing on the doorstep. The bunkhouse is in the centre of Swanage town, a stone's throw from the South West Coast Path and all local amenities - pubs, shops, restaurants etc. Swanage Auberge is family run and self-contained with central heating, fully equipped self-catering kitchen, drying and laundry facilities. There are two bunk rooms, one with 4 standard bunks and the other with 6 alpine style places (3 and 3).There is also a 5 bed dorm in the adjoining house. Towel, plus pillows are provided and bedding is included. There are three showers, loos and washrooms and an area to hang and wash wet-suits. Once booked in, the Auberge is available 24 hours a day. Parking is available for 2 vehicles and is allocated on a first come first served basis. There is free on-street parking close by. Price includes cereal breakfast and beverages. Packed lunches available on request.

Popular Swanage hostel opens again on 12th April

March 9th 2021

On the 12th April we will be welcoming single households to book our hostel on an exclusive use basis (in line with the Government’s roadmap out of lock down). Then on 17th May two households or 6 people from different households will be be able to book on an exclusive use basis. And then, fingers crossed things should be back to normal. Swanage is going to be busy this summer, book soon to secure the dates you want.

Swanage Auberge in Swanage on the Isle of Purbeck is surrounded by superb opportunities for outdoor activities. Famous for the local climbing and diving. The bunkhouses is well equipped for outdoor sports with a drying area to hang out wet suits and wet weather gear and washing machine and tumble dryer so you can get clothes clean and dry for the next day’s activities. There are self catering facilities and Swanage Auberge is right in the centre of town close to pubs and restaurants. The Bunkhouse that cares, knows that sometimes flexibility is required for outdoor sports. So if your climbing or diving activities get canceled due to bad weather, they will carry your deposit over to your next booking.
