Rydal Hall Youth Centre is situated in the centre of Rydal Hall estate, sheltered on three sides by the Fairfield Horseshoe and offering access to the best of Lakeland’s activities. Facilities inside provide accommodation for groups of up to 29. There are 2 dormitories sleeping 9 and 10 in each and 2 leader rooms each sleeping 4 and 6. A large common room can be used for dining or recreation. A drying room on the ground floor. A welcoming log-burner provides additional warmth to the ample heating powered by our nearby water turbine. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Guests need to bring sleeping bags, towels and extra blankets during winter.
Rydal Hall also offers camping to groups and families and there is residential accommodation for up to 50 at the Hall in single, twin, double and family rooms with private facilities. There are 3 eco pods near the campsite in the grounds of Rydal Hall. They are made from sustainable materials and are fully carpeted with a small covered porch area. There is space for a BBQ outside and no heating, cooking or electricity in the Pods. A back to nature experience with the reassurance of a sold roof over your head. Prices: £45 for 1 night, £40 per night for 2 or more nights, £35 per night for 4 or more nights.

In the gardens of Rydal Hall, the youth centre provides newly refurbished bunkhouse style accommodation. Rydal Hall has been beautifully restored over many years by the Diocese of Carlisle. Groups and private guests are welcome in the Hall and the surrounding estate and buildings are available for everyone to come and enjoy. The youth centre provides good value self catering accommodation for groups.
