…it throws its hospitable arms wide and welcomes all sorts of groups…
Scouting around for group accommodation? Look no further than The Old School Lodge.
Oh, I’m sorry, I couldn’t resist. You see The Old School Lodge is owned and managed by Wallasey & West Wirral Scouts. When it’s not being used by Merseyside kids, though it throws its hospitable arms wide and welcomes all sorts of groups. It sleeps 38 in en-suite shared bunk rooms, although the group leader rooms are smaller and more private. Drying rooms, a lounge, a well-equipped kitchen and dining room are all exactly as you’d expect from an ‘old-school’ bunkhouse.
On the edge of the Snowdonia mountains in the charming village of Deiniolen, not far from Llanberis and Dinorwig, this bunkhouse is a brand new member of the Independent Hostels network – watch out for them in the 2018 guide.Â
Also as you’d expect is the access to the countryside and the cherished and challenging landscape of Snowdonia, an area that need no introduction or advertising from me!
In short, if you’re bringing a group to Snowdonia and you’re looking for accommodation – look no further!
