Close to Hadrians Wall, the Pennine Way & Pennine Journey Loughviews Bunkroom is perfect for walkers, cyclists & for exploring the Northumberland National Park.

Once part of a typical stone Northumbrian cowshed, Loughviews Bunkroom has been tastefully converted to provide comfortable, affordable bunkroom accommodation for up to 4 people. The bunkroom is open plan with 2 sets of bunk beds, a dining table, fridge and kettle. Continental breakfast can be ordered in advance (£5) and the Twiced Brewed pub (3 miles away) offers classic home cooked evening meals food and award-winning home brewed beers. The bunkroom leads you directly to a paved patio area with seating and stunning views

Occupying an idyllic, rural & secluded position, the bunkroom is 2.5 miles along a private track from the nearest road. (The track is gated so please be sure to close any gates you open). Surrounded by open farmland and breath-taking views across Greenlee Lough to Hadrians Wall and Sycamore Gap it is the perfect place to escape, relax and unwind. In the evenings you can enjoy the mesmerising beauty of the dark skies of Northumberland International Dark Sky Park while in the mornings you will wake to the sound of incredible bird song. Wildlife abounds and if you are observant you should spot roe deer, buzzards, ospreys and many others.

For walkers Loughviews has easy access to Hadrians Wall, the Pennine Journey and the Pennine Way and it would make the perfect stopover for anyone doing these routes. (Lifts to the Twice Brewed for evening meals can be arranged). It is also an excellent base for cyclists and for exploring Roman sites, Kielder Forest all the attractions, castles and beaches of the Northumberland National Park.

As well as the bunkroom there is a 2 bed holiday cottage available for weekly lets.
