OverviewLlety Arall Hostel is a community enterprise which offers flexible accommodation for individuals, couples, families and groups in the heart of Caernarfon. Recently refurbished to a very high standard, it sleeps 22 in 8 rooms en suite rooms. Facilities include a well equipped kitchen and a community room which is large enough for meetings and communal events. Llety Arall is located in Stryd y Plas (Palace Street), within the town walls and not far from Caernarfon Castle, the Maes (Square) and the vibrant town centre, with it's pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants. Caernafon lies is on the eastern shore of the Menai straits and is the perfect base for exploring Anglesy and Snowdonia. Llety Arall was established as a community venture to attract and welcome visitors from around the world to Caernarfon in order for them to experience living life in the most Welsh-speaking town in the world.

Directions:The postcode will take you to Llety Arall Cyf, however the hostel is located within a restricted parking zone within the Caernarfon Town walls. Guests may drop off at the hostel (cars can drive down the street when bollards are down - but not between 11am-4pm) and should park in one of the public car parks outside the town walls. There are a number of conveniently located public car parks to the North of Caernarfon centre along Glan Mor and Balaclava Street adjacent to Victoria Dock. If you approaching Caernarfon on the A487 from either direction you should follow signs for Victoria Doc & park outside the town walls in one of the public car parks. To walk to the hostel continue from Balaclava Street straight ahead onto Glan Mor and through the town wall onto Stryd Pedwar a Chwech. Head straight on after passing the Black Boy Inn to Palace Street and the hostel is situated on the left hand side half way down the street.
Public Transport:Nearest train station is Bangor. Then take the bus to Caernarfon (buses leave around every 20 minutes during the day time. In the bus station, walk forward and turn left and go to the town square (know as the Maes) where you will see the famous Caernarfon castle. Bear right as you head towards the castle, cross a road and turn right to Palace Street, you will see an ice cream parlour and Palace Vaults pub either side of the street. Llety Arall is located half way down the street on the left hand side. If you have not made specific arrival arrangements, please enter the Palace Print bookshop situated opposite of our building for assistance.
