This luxury and newly converted barn sits in a secluded position in a tiny hamlet just outside Horton-in-Ribblesdale. With stunning uninterrupted views across to Pen-y-ghent and Ingleborough & Whernside beyond, it is the perfect base for walkers, fell runners and mountain bikers wanting to do the 3 Peaks Challenge, The Pennine Way, the Pennine Bridleway or the many other local routes.

Hawks Barn sleeps 6 (+ 3 kids) across 3 superb bedrooms. The zip & link beds can be set up as singles or doubles and each room has an extra under-bed single suitable for a child. All bed linen and towels are provided. There's a fabulously equipped kitchen/diner. Please note it might be a bit squashed getting 9 around the dining table, please request extra chairs. There are two separate chill-out areas (one upstairs & one downstairs) each tastefully decorated with super-comfy sofas. The shared bathroom has a proper bath and separate shower, perfect for a good soak after a hard day's adventure.

Outside there's a walled courtyard with picnic tables, parking for 3 cars and overflow wild camping on request. Bike hire, bike wash, bike maintenance and storage facilities are available on request.

The unique aspect of this lovingly restored accommodation is that guests have the option of catering or being catered for, on the model of a skiing chalet. Simply choose from breakfast, packed lunch or evening meals on any day. With walks from the doorstep, a 10-minute stroll to the Crown Hotel/Pub in Horton-in-Ribblesdale and a 15 min drive to Settle and Ribblehead Viaduct, not to mention all the other local attractions in the Yorkshire Dales, there's something for everyone.
