The Great Glen Way long distance footpath between Fort William and Inverness is just 200m from the hostel. The Hostel is surrounded by Munros in Glen Garry, Glen Dessary, Glen Spean and the Great Glen. The Garry, Spean, Roy and Moriston rivers are within easy reach and ideal for kayaka and canoes. The Great Glen Canoe Trail runs just behind the hostel. The Great Glen is an exellent location for exploring the Highlands, Glenfinnan Viaduct, the sands of Morar, Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye, and the castles of Urquhart and Eilean Donan are all an easy drive away
