Set in extensive private grounds on the eastern edge of Dartmoor, Dartmoor Activity Centre is a group accommodation and activity centre for people who want to get outside, get active and experience the landscape at its best.
Whether it’s an outdoor club, a large gathering of friends and family, Scouts, a youth organisation or a school, the centre provides the space, facilities and location to make the most of Dartmoor.
There is accommodation for up to 38 people in the main hostel, 36 in cabins and around 50 campers, with facilities including kitchens, dining areas, lounges, toilets and showers available for each type of accommodation.
The centres extensive indoor and outdoor spaces, make it ideal for everything from active days and outdoor learning to relaxing, socialising and spending time together.
Private group hire is available, giving groups the freedom to make the centre their own, with self-catering or fully catered options available. Sorry but we do not accept stag or hen groups.
Alongside private group bookings, Dartmoor Activity Centre also runs a programme of events and courses, and bespoke residiential packages for Schools.

The centre is situated close to Haytor Rocks on the eastern fringe of Dartmoor in Devon, approximately mid-way between Widecombe-in-the-Moor and Bovey Tracey.Public Transport :
Bus service 193 runs between Exeter and Newton Abbot, stopping in Bovey Tracey, just a 5-minute walk from the centre.
