Craibstone Estate is a 750 acre country estate situated on the edge of the granite city of Aberdeen. It offers excellent hostel accommodation to individuals, families and groups in an attractive area of woodland and hills. All rooms have WiFi, television, towels and bedding. Our accommodation is self catering with access to equipped dining kitchens. On-site facilities include a TV lounge, snooker room, licensed bar (open during busy spells), café, multi-gym, 18-hole golf course (5-minute drive away), floodlit Astroturf sports area, walled garden (ideal for BBQs) and woodland walks. Craibstone Estate is on the north west of Aberdeen City just off the A96 Inverness road. At airport traffic lights, turn left and follow the signs to Ferguson Building, where the Accommodation Office is located.Public Transport:
From Guild Street: Bus Station (opposite Aberdeen train station) take Bus No 10 or 37/37A to Inverurie. Ask the driver to stop at the layby before the new traffic lights for the Airport. You will need to walk to the traffic lights and turn left. Only a short taxi ride from the Airport.Walks:

Craibstone Estate in Scotland’s North East is set in 800 acres of glorious woodlands, providing a quiet and relaxing base where you can unwind by exploring the secluded grounds and enjoying the woodland walks and wildlife-watching.
The surrounding area has a number of ‘must see’ attractions including the picturesque fishing village of Footdee and the impressive Dunnottar Castle and Crathes Castle and Gardens to name but a few. Craibstone Estate is also linked to the ‘Four Hills’ walk, which can be used for running and keep fit. Kirkhill Forest close by offers an excellent technical mountain bike course and also a great walking/running challenge.
