Affordable, group accommodation in the Peak District
Bradwell War Memorial Hall is situated in the pretty village of Bradwell in the famous Hope Valley in the heart of the Peak District. This community run hall offers a low cost camping style self-catering accommodation, to groups of 6-42. It is an ideal base for family groups, walkers, bikers, D0fE students or climbers who wish enjoy and explore all the Peak District has to offer. There are many beautiful walks direct from the doorstep.
The hall has 2 rooms. The main hall is large and can sleep approximately 36 people, the second smaller room will sleep 6 is upstairs and separated from the main hall. All rooms are centrally heated. There are male and female toilet blocks with showers. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your self catering needs. THERE ARE NO BEDS, so you need to bring your own sleeping mat and bedding. Outside there is parking for 2 minibuses/cars. Additional parking can be organised, but we cannot accommodate lots of cars.
The village has a chip shop, a village store, a famous ice cream parlour and a couple of pubs. The nearest pub is just around the corner and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner if you don't fancy self catering. Sorry no pets. Please note the hall is only available only during the school holidays and at weekends during term time.

Great news for DofE groups heading to the Peak District

Bradwell War Memorial Hall, situated in the village of Bradwell in the Hope Valley in the Peak District, is now available to DofE groups at weekends during term time and all week during the holidays.
DofE groups from 6 – 42 are welcome to stay. There’s a well equipped kitchen, hot water, toilet blocks with one male and one female shower. What’s more its centrally heated. There are no bunk beds, so you must bring your own sleeping mat and bedding. You just don’t need a tent or a trangia and cooking equipment. With footpaths on the doorstep its worth planning one of your day’s routes to end at Bradwell. Because whatever the weather if you stay at Bradwell War Memorial Hall you will have a warm and dry evening and all your group will be ready to face more challenges the next day.
