Affordable, group accommodation in the Peak District
The hall has 3 rooms. The main hall is large and can sleep approximately 36 people. The second smaller room will sleep 6, it is upstairs and is separated from the main hall with a closing door, making it ideal for DoE groups. The library room is the perfect little cosy hideaway. All rooms are centrally heated. There are male and female toilet blocks with showers, as well as a family shower room and disabled toilets. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your self catering needs. THERE ARE NO BEDS, so you do need to bring your own sleeping mat and bedding, as well as towels. Outside there is parking for 2 minibuses/cars. Additional parking can be organised, but we cannot accommodate many vehicles.
The village has a fish & chip shop, a small supermarket, a post office, a cafe, a sandwich shop and three decent pubs.

Bradwell War Memorial Hall, situated in the village of Bradwell in the Hope Valley in the Peak District, is now available to DofE groups at weekends during term time and all week during the holidays.
DofE groups from 6 – 42 are welcome to stay. There’s a well equipped kitchen, hot water, toilet blocks with one male and one female shower. What’s more its centrally heated. There are no bunk beds, so you must bring your own sleeping mat and bedding. You just don’t need a tent or a trangia and cooking equipment. With footpaths on the doorstep its worth planning one of your day’s routes to end at Bradwell.
