Perfect for groups with free access to the care farm
Sleeping groups of 4 - 30, it is ideally suited to scouts, guides and other uniformed groups, schools, clubs, youth and faith groups as well as groups of families. It offers wallet-friendly accommodation in a stimulating and educational environment.
The bunkhouse is part of the Amelia Trust Farm and guests have free access to the extensive care farm. There are many acres of semi-ancient woodland to explore, trails to follow, 20 different species of animals to meet, and an adventure park to play in.
Proceeds from the bunkhouse help fund the Trust's charitable work providing therapeutic support to children who struggle in mainstream education.
Facilities in the bunkhouse include a well equipped commercial kitchen, spacious lounge/diner, large porch/boot room. There's an en suite leaders' room plus 5 dorms of various sizes. Outside you'll find ample parking for minibuses, an on-site cafe, a BBQ and cob oven and picnic tables dotted around the woodland.
A separate field study centre, perfect for additional dining or classroom space, and a sports hall can also be hired if required.

There is an accessible bathroom on the ground floor and close to this (also on the ground floor) is the Badger bedroom, which has a single bed and two sets of bunks. This charity run bunkhouse, a short drive from the South Wales coast, is perfect for youth & faith groups of up to 30. Situated on a extensive care farm, your group will have free access to all the facilities. There are 20 different species of animals to meet and woodland to explore.
This therapeutic setting has plenty of spaces to reflect and be close to nature, a fact much appreciated by the many faith groups who return year after year.
