Abernethy Bunkhouse, Station Road, Nethy Bridge, PH25 3DN
Sharing a car park with the Speyside Way and just yards from the river, the converted Nethy Station offers all that a group of 12-26 could expect from a bunkhouse and you only pay for a maximum of 20 beds. It is well equipped, fully central heated and has two public areas. Most rooms have triple bunks and there is a 2 bunk room with unusual access: we call it Narnia, as you get there through a wardrobe! There is also ‘The Shed’. Whether you self-cater or we cook for you as a group, you will have access to the kitchen at all times. We never ask people to share the building so you may sleep, walk, ski, board, hike, ride, fish, etc. at your own convenience. Stag and hen groups are welcome. The bunkhouse is only 200 yards from the centre of Nethy Bridge with its shop, butcher, pub and interpretive centre and half way between two winter sports areas. Dogs are welcome but please do not let them sleep on the beds! This accommodation is featured on our map of the Cairngorms and Moray and here is its own website.

Abernethy Bunkhouse provides group accommodation in the Cairngorms National Park
Abernethy Bunkhouse has a unqiue policy for visiting groups which provides an affordable risk free way of hosting your stag or hen adventure weekend. Every group has sole use of the bunkhouse and you only pay for the beds you use. The bunkhouse is in the centre of Nethy Bridge close to pubs and activities. Nethy Bridge is ideal for activities or ‘chilling out’! The Speyside Way runs alongside the bunkhouses and the spectacular scenery of the surroundings can be seen on the TV series ‘Monarch of the Glen’. The bunkhouse is just 15 minutes from Aviemore in Speyside. Ideal for family gatherings, field trips, club outings, an unusual wedding reception and Stag and Hen Weekends.
Abernethy Bunkhouse is 10 miles from the Dava Way
The Dava Way is a long distance walk of 38km from Grantown-on-Spey in the Cairngorms to Forres in Moray. It follows the old Highland Railway Line through the empty moorlands around Dava and the fertile lands of Moray. This walk is also a link between the Speyside Way and the Moray Coast Trail, completing a circular route known as the Moray Coast Trail.
