    Bents Camping Barn, formerly a 17th century shepherd’s cottage, is in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There are 2 bunkrooms sleeping 14 in total (BYO sleeping bags), a well equipped kitchen and a dining area. Please bring £1 coins for the electric metre. The Coast to Coast path is nearby and the Howgill Fells, Wild Boar Fell and Crosby Garrett Common offer great fell walking. Smardale Gill Nature Reserve and Sunbiggin Tarn are also easily accessible.

There is one external toilet, cold water and no heating or lighting, so a perfect location for those who want to escape technology and enjoy dark skies. The bothys are right on the Pennine Way.
