Business is going well and after 8 years of continued investment the property is in a very good state and well attuned to the needs to today’s travellers whether larger family groups, couples or Coast to Coast walkers alike.

There is a superb biomass heating system which generates a handsome yearly return as well as excellent hot water and heating.

We do hope that whoever takes over Thorney How will have similar aims around sustainability and a sensitivity towards it’s Grade 11 listed status in a World Heritage Site.
