There’s a hammock in the ground floor lounge at Ty Cwch, strung up next to the big sliding doors that open onto the valley. It’s one of the first things guests head for.
You can lie in it and look straight out over Cwmtydu, with the sound of the stream and, further off, the sea. On a clear day you’ll see the coast path climbing up towards New Quay.
It’s a good spot for reading, for a nap after a walk, or for getting five minutes away from a full house of 12. Kids like it too, though it only holds one at a time — expect a queue in school holidays.
If you’re booking a family or group stay and want a quiet corner as well as all the outdoor space, this is it.
