Staying in the Cuckoo Hut – August 2025
‘We had a great stay at Wild Valley Huts. The views were stunning, it was cosy and the local walks were great. On arrival, the owners had made us some bread which was a very nice touch, it was still warm when we arrived. Heather and Graeme were excellent hosts, very friendly and came and chatted with us before we left. The hot tub was the icing on the cake and we were in it every night. We will most definitely be returning in the future. (Our guests rebooked! They have a second stay with us in October 2025)!
The Celebrators
A weekend away to celebrate their anniversary.
Staying in The Red Kite Hut
‘Everything was perfect from the hot tub to the silence. Such a great place to come to get away from everything but still be able to take a short drive to the pub for something to eat. We wanted for nothing the Red Kite hut was furnished with everything we needed. Hope to come back soon. Thanks for a great couple of nights away for our Anniversary.’
The Adventurers
A family stay, spending a fabulous day of adventures at Lake Vyrnwy!
This included riding their bikes around the Dam Trail & scrambling up the captivating waterfall to see the stunning views down the valley.
Staying in the Bunkhouse
‘A room with a view! We loved toasting marshmallows on the firepit.’
The Escapers
A family stay swapping 2 weeks in London for 2 weeks in the remote, rural countryside. Revelling in the sounds, smells & sights of nature, starry night skies and outdoor fires.
Staying in the Bunkhouse
‘Very clean. A serene location and friendly, accommodating hosts. Loved the sounds of the little stream and being able to do the BBQ with real wood. The stars were clearly visible – not so much in London where we currently reside. We were soothed by the baaing of the sheep and hooting of the tawny owl. We spent 2 weeks in the bunkhouse and they just flew by.’
