*5th-31st – Pick your own pumpkins in the Pumpkin Patch at the popular Lynclys Farm Shop, Oswestry. Thousands of pumpkins in all shapes & sizes.
*26th – 9-4pm – The Halloween feel comes to Oswestry’s town market with face painting, magicians & a spooky hunt to enjoy.
*19th & 29th – The ‘Animal Family’ will be at the British Iron Works Centre, Oswestry. On both days they will be providing exciting animal experiences on site. They have lots to showcase, such as snakes, spiders and insects.
The British Iron Works really is a must see & there is a special event on this Autumn Half Term.
Guests, friends, family all absolutely rave about this once they have visited it. It really is incredible!
The sculpture park is the UK’s largest metal safari park with over 100 sculptures on display, they also have a fabulous collection of art for you to explore which are exhibited throughout the grounds. From the Knife Angel and the Iron Guardian to the Spoon Gorilla and galloping horses, each piece is completely breath-taking.
The current display includes; the Spoon Gorilla which has been made from 40,000 spoons and designed in collaboration with Uri Gellar. There’s a fabulous Extinction Trail, and an array of metal safari animals.
As well there is dispay of metal superheros too, a perfect day for children and maybe ‘big kids’ too !
