A bunkhouse with a pub at the bottom of the drive

On an idyllic Welsh Hill Farm in the heart (really – the heart – Look it up on a map) of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The pub is at the foot of the farm drive. Penderyn Whiskey is right over there. The historic and picturesque town of Brecon is close. And to break things up a little, there are walks in the hills right from the door.

Coed Owen Bunkhouse has the seclusion and location required for adrenaline junkies and party people. Well that just sounds a bit too tiring for me.

What about those of us of a more sedate turn of mind, pleased with mountain hikes, not mountain bikes, with pleasant views rather than extreme downhill kayaking. Luckily Coed Owen suits us too!

The Bunkhouse sleeps 26 in a variety of rooms and has a shared kitchen, living space and showers. There’s a very secure cycle shed. A newly completed barn conversion sleeps 9 on the site too.

Peaceful and tucked away. A quiet drink nearby. Lovely walks. Ahhh!
