High House Hostel is a 16th/17th-century farmhouse at the very end of Borrowdale valley – the last stop before Scafell Pike! It is popular with walkers, climbers and outdoor groups. There are two dorms, each with a toilet, washbasin and shower, a large common room with stove (fuel provided), easy chairs, a library and dining area, a drying room and a fully fitted kitchen. Outside there is a fire pit, stream, tables, benches and car parking in large enclosed grounds.
This back-to-basics accommodation will inspire and invigorate. There is availability on the weekend of the 25-27th of November at cost of £175 a night with possible reductions for multi night stays. So rally your adventurous hiking buddies or fearless climbing pals and have a weekend to remember in Borrowdale.
