Liz Peacock of MTB Trail Skills is coming to Dale House Barn to offer 2 improvers skills residential weekends. Designed for those riders that can manage a red grade trail but wish to start owning them in style!

Based at Dale House Barn in the Forest of Bowland,  the course will take you on the trails in Gisburn Forest and across the natural terrain of the Yorkshire dales.

You will be using some of the trails from last year’s Hopetech Womens Enduro.  An ideal opportunity to practise your skills or improve your speed for this year’s race.

DAY ONE WILL BE A SKILLS IMPROVEMENT DAY WHICH WILL INCLUDE:

Body position for riding more advanced trail features
Effective use of gears and brakes for maximising momentum whilst maintaining control
Riding roots and rocks with confidence

Tackling drop offs
Pumping the bike for better speed and control
Numbers will be limited to 8 females to ensure everyone gets the best out of the coaching sessions for everyone.

Day two will be a lead ride in the Yorkshire dales with Liz and 2 other ride leaders to consolidate the skills learned in day one and to enjoy the stunning scenery and varied riding terrain in the area.
